Joyce holds a PhD from Monash University and Masters of Philosophy (Management Studies) from the University of Cambridge. She was a Business Analyst in Shell Malaysia before becoming the founder and CEO of Success Concepts Life Planners. She is also a Securities Commission licensed Financial Planner,Certified Counselor and HRDF trainer. Her two biggest passions are Financial Literacy and Retirement Planning. Over the years, Joyce has lectured for the Certified Financial Planning program, conducted Financial Literacy workshops for many corporate employees, and trained numerous financial service practitioners.
Joyce is well known for her contributions in the print media and BFM 89.9 Ringgit & Sense program. She has authored two books – “Sweet Returns” and “Financial Snacks”, appeared on TV3 personal finance programs, and was featured in EPF’s infomercial on retirement planning. Her PhD research is in the area of financial sustainability and is a keen advocate of retirement readiness among Millennials.™
